Could help me? Is Academy, Hobbycraft, MRC the same manufacturer?
Could I buy a f-111 from hobbycraft and use resin parts from the academy kit?

The way I understand it is MRC is the US distributer of Academy products. Hobbycraft is seperate. Some of their newer stuff are Trumpeter kits, build under license (Wildcat, Thunderchief are 2 examples.) I am not sure if some of their older stuff is similiar but using Academy molds, no I would be very cautious before spending the dough
Academy has marketed several of the Hobbycraft kits reboxed under their label, but they are separate Companies. I’m pretty sure the F-111is the same kit. MRC is a Distributor, not a Manufacturer.

You don’t want the F-111 from HobbyCraft, it is awful! The kit is a rebox of a kit from a company called Zhengdefu out of China. HobbyCraft also boxes the A-10 from the same company and its just as bad. My suggestion, buy the Academy kit.

well the 1/48 F-111 is the Academy’s and it’s been reboxed by Zhengdefu & Hobbycraft, what it looks like the molds for the Zhengdefu are maybe a clone or an older mold of the Academy kit as for the Hobbycraft kit it’s under license from Academy to be sold under the Hobbycraft label and vise versa Academy’s P-26, P-36, P-40B, F4U’s are Hobbycraft’s kits sold the same way, now days just about all the model companies are selling other companies kit under license a good example is Hasegawa was selling the Monograms 1/48 scale bomber under their label in South East Asia area, and Revellogram is selling Hasegawa’s kits under their label (P-38F,G, H, F-4E, F4U-4)
This deal of one company reboxing a kit from another company is very confusing. I recently bought a Hasegawa kit of the F-105G Wild Weasel. It has beautiful artwork on the box, but the insides are the old Monogram (Revell) kit. I thought that it was something new instead of a copy of what I already have.
