I’ve got an Iwata Neo airbrush and have been pretty well pleased. Only have had it for a few weeks but I’m learning. Anyway, it seemed to be clogged, not spraying very well. I broke it down completely and its clean and not clogged, I’m sure of that but the air is spraying but no paint or flow improver coming out. I went through an online checklist and still no paint.
I need help! Thanks in advance.
Use plain water to troubleshoot. Are you getting bubbles in the cup? Hold the nozzle up to a light and look in the back end with a magnifier. Do you see any crud? Are you sure the needle is really pulling back?

I had the same problem with my Iwata when building the Le Solei Royal. Upon inspection, I discovered that the end point, was clogged, it so happens that few weeks before I had purchased an air brush cleaning kit and in this kit came a tool that looks like a very small screwdriver were the point is very sharp, small and pointed. Using this tool I was able to remove the old paint that had sealed the end of the air brush.
This air brush cleaning kit did not cost much and I go it at Amazon, sorry I do not have the link.
Hope this help
Joe
I’m far from an expert and pretty new at this stuff. How much do you thin your paint? I spray Tamiya acrylics and MRP mostly. I found thinning Tamiya 50/50 or 60 thinner/40 paint sprays nice and smooth with no clogs. MRP is thin and ready to go from the bottle.
I could be way off but maybe the paint is too thick?
Also try soapy water around the front parts to see if there are any leaks or anything that is not seated as it should. Dish soap and some water does the trick. Spray it on and see if anything bubbles up
