Airbrush woes...

Hello all

I dusted off my airbrush on Saturday as we had some good light here in my part of the UK and it’s not working properly…

It’s one of these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gravity-Feed-Dual-Action-AirBrush-Craft-Art-Airbrushing-Spray-Pen-7CC-22CC-/281234887499?pt=UK_Crafts_DrawingSupplies_EH&hash=item417ae7d34b

A BD-132 or AS-132 depending on the branding, or probably just a cheap clone. It came free with my compressor as part of the AS-186 kit from KMS Direct.

I’m getting air through it just fine. However paint is not coming out at all well. I have to keep rocking the lever back and forth to get any paint to come out.

I’ve been using the Vallejo model air range in it, and back in October/November I had been washing the airbrush out between colours and afterwards with just water. The airbrush seemed to be working fine doing this however.

Question is though, can I fix this problem, or have I totally ruined the airbrush?

If I can fix it how do I go about doing it (I’m guessing a complete deep clean is in order)?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT - never mind. I think I just broke it taking it apart, the nozzle won’t screw back on, think I overtightened it and broke the thread. Doh!! Looks like I’m buying a new airbrush…
