Lately my Iwata Eclipse HP-CS have been giving me problems. After numerous cleanings I have not been able to fix the issue. There seems to be some kind of blockage because the paint in the cup bubbles and becomes frothy. I’ve run a cleaning brush between the cup and nozzle. I’ve cleaned the tips really meticulously by soaking in simple green and scrubbing out. I just don’t see how anything could be in there. Is there anything else that could be causing the problem?
I had the same problem after a cleaning. Turns out i left something off when i put it back together. Piece # 4, the nozzle.
What you describe is often a symptom of the nozzle cap not being screwed on firmly. Is the O-ring on the brush at the back of the nozzle cap in good shape? The AB needs a good seal at that point.
It can be a crack in the nozzle.
I think Denstore is correct. My Badger Krome started doing this and it turned out to be a crack in the .21mm nozzle.
Well I did another thorough cleaning. I took the seal off and it had some dried paint caked pretty good on there. I cleaned it off and put everything back together and it seems to be working fine now. Thanks everyone.
