Hi everyone. Recently my Aerograph model PIAB 2103 airbrush nozzle has snapped off[:'(]. If anyone could inform me on any contact information on the manufacturer it would be much appreciated!!!
I’m not sure where the Aerograph brand name comes into it, as it a brand that’s no longer manufactured (although Aerograph seems to be interchangeable with airbrush in some languages…).
The PIAB 2103 would appear to be a Chinese BD-130 airbrush, probably from Fengda or possibly from one of the other Chinese manufacturers.
The BD-130 generally uses an 0.3mm nozzle & this should be readily available from any supplier of Chinese / clone / BD type airbrushes (it’s the type with the O-ring seal at the base).
I believe DeVilbiss acquired Aerograph some time ago (some of their AB’s were sold as ‘DeVilbiss Aerograph’). You might try to contact a DeVilbiss seller and check. TCP Global sells a maintenance kit (includes nozzle) for the DAGR Studio ab. Don’t know if it will help or not.
DeVilbiss passed the rights on some time ago & the current owner (Artcoe) seems to have stopped production - last I heard they were trying to dispose of their remaining spares…
The model number quoted (PIAB 2103) is an alternate for the BD-130, does it look like this?;
That’s a PLAB2103.
yes that is the exact model. But when I tried to order the spare nozzle it wouldn’t add it to the cart. Thank you for the gracious help!! ![]()
Thanks Milairjunkie - learn something every day. That looks exactly like one I purchased from Hobby King for $18.00 some time ago SEE HERE. Comes with three nozzle/needle sets 0.2, .035, 0.5. Doesn’t compare to my H&S Evolution in fit and finish but does work. Don’t know model number or manufacturerer. If, indeed, it is the same then a quick EBay search will turn up many hits for similar at very low prices and the nozzle could be moved from of Chinese one to the DeVilbiss. Just a thought.
