Anyone have any advice on cleaning your airbrush after using enamels?
I just blow a bunch of thinner through it at pretty high pressure (like 40 p.s.i.) and then clean it like normal, except that I dip my q-tips and pipe cleaners in thinner or mineral spirits instead of alchohol. If you are having a specific problem, let us know, it may be easier to adress.

Haven’t tried it yet with enamels…thus the question.
I do what nwilliams said and I use lacquer thinner.
I spray the thinner through the airbrush then disassemble the airbrush and wipe the needle off with a paper towel with some thinner on it, clean the siphon tube with a cotton swab with thinner, squirt a little thinner into the cone (tip) with an eye dropper, and clean out the cup or jar that was used. I reassemble it by putting some Super Lube on the front-half of the needle and then putting the rest back together.

After cleaning make sure that the needle is lubricate with some oil or grease.
By doing this you make sure that the gaskets inside your gun are lubricate.
The oil or grease should be safe to use with rubber.
And also before starting with airbrushing just flush the noozle clean with some thinner.
