My Aztek A470 recently started leaking air between the metal tip of the brush and the base of the nozzles, even after the nozzles have been tightened with the little red tool that comes with the brush. Anybody have any ideas what might be wrong?
Of course you have cleaned the brush thoroughly…
There could be a pice of foreign matter caught in there…a defective O-ring or seal. Inspect closely.

I have never had much luck with the Aztek. I’ve had two of the and threw them both out. I always had trouble tightening the tip and have had paint blow out the cup-what a mess. I now use an Iwata Revolution CR and just started using a Harder Steenbeck Infinity 2 in 1 both of which are gravity fed airbrushes.
