Looking through the instructions, they call for a mix of Mr Color paints - 70%#4,15%#6, and 15%#7. I have the set of AK - IJN, and the Mig Army and Navy colors, all for aircraft.
Question is, which interior green is closer to the Aichi…Nakajima or Mitsubishi. Or a mix of the greens from those sets, not mixing brands.

according to this link, neither the Nakajima nor Mitsubishi color is close to the Aichi shade.
Art, if you haven’t already seen this, you might find it interesting. It’s a pretty quick read.
Cheers
Thanks Greg. On the Val’s, looks like a green over tan.
The PE fret has quite a few tan pieces for floors and IP
Just ordered out the two colors I was missing, along with a couple other items from spraygunner. I’ll go with the mix in the instructions.
Funny thing, box art shows exterior in green upper and grey underside, but the paint guide shows two shades of green. Will probably go with the grey/green, like the look better.
I have built several WWII Jap aircraft and determined that the color subject about interior, exterior and primer paints will sometimes give you a headache. For a long time I thought that early Jap aircraft was primered but further reading says otherwise.
I did a 1/48 Val for the Battle of Midway GB a while back and it has some info you may find useful. Unfortunately the pictures are gone but some of the info is on there. Modelcrazy also did a very nice Val on that GB.
Thanks PJ. I knew IJN paint was a mismash depending on who made what, and even during the production run.
As an aside, I have to give a shout to Spraygunner. I placed an order, then realized I got a color wrong. Sent an email asking if they could make the change if I wasn’t too late. Ordered late yesterday and just got notification it has shipped, along with an email from Major they made the switch.
Super fast service, and extraordinary customer service. Never had a bad experience with them.
