Good morning. I’m building an F-20 Tigershark and I plan to build it for the VFC-111 Sundowners aggressor squadron. I plan to build it with blue colors (F-5E/N), but I can’t find the exact color references. I’ve searched the forum and only found the federal standard references for the gray schemes. Could someone please tell me the correct Federal standard references for the blue scheme? I’ve attached a photo of the scheme. Thank you very much.

No, that’s the one I saw, and it’s one of the gray schemes.
This may be what you’re looking for. In the instructions, it lists the type of paints to be used, so that may be good enough. If not, you may find it on another set of instructions.

If you have the fs numbers, you can use the hobby color converter app to cross reference to several brands of paint. I’d be lost without that app.

Using the FS numbers in that graphic and my iModelKit iOS app, I approximate mixes as:
- FS35466: Tamiya X-14 (3) : Tamiya X-2 (2)
- FS36375: Tamiya XF-19 (20) : Tamiya XF-91 (7)
- FS35164: Tamiya X-14 (1) : Tamiya XF-91 (14)
FS36375 is tagged as “Medium Gray” and FS35164 is tagged as “Navy Blue 212” and “ANA 608” if these help at all.
Please note that I’m giving software output, I haven’t mixed these to see how closely they match or anything like that. If it would be at all helpful, I could potentially photograph the FS color plate against copy paper or something else “standard”.

Thank you very much. I used the colors that most closely resembled the standard federal colors, from AK Interactive’s Real Colors brand. The references are RC234, RC236 and RC239.
