Aggieman's Busy Year 2020 in Review

I think many have been ready to say “sayonara” to this year for some time now. Yesterday I wrapped up work on my last models for the year, and realized that the year 2020 has probably been the busiest I’ve ever had at the bench.

Hello!

It’s really the end of the year, when posts like this start showing up… and indeed - what a result! It would take me about five GOOD years to complete as many models!

Happy new 2021!

Paweł

Beautiful work. At the rate I work, those would take me a lifetime.

25 diverse builds,thats 4-5 years for me

Great work Texas

I thought there was a bunch! Excellent body of quality work. 2020 will be know as the year of many models.

Holy smokes, what a year!!! Those are all gorgeous builds! Bravo Aggie!!!

Wow Aggie, I am in awe at both the sheer quantity and the quality of the builds.

You sir are definately an over-achiever, and in this case it is a good thing!

Ben

You have deffinetly been busy, some nice additions to the collection there.

I am a bit late with my review this year, just wrapping up the Chieftain.

And most of them were big kits too. Great year Stephen

Yeah wow, quality and quanitity too!!! Beautiful work and probably more than I’ve turned out the last decade…

Wow, I could only dream of finishing that many models in a year! Great to see you have both quantity and quality.

Thanks everyone!

Being out of work has at least one benefit of allowing me far more time at my bench than I’d ordinarily get. But in the coming year, I really have to slow myself down. My stash took a bit of a hit in 2020, and with no additions in the forseeable future, my actual retirement plans revolving around building have dwindled. So for this coming year, I’ve pulled 12 kits out of the stash that I currently think I will build in 2021.

Wow, you are one prolific builder. That is a stunning collection of well done and super cool kits. Nice!!

HOLY SMOKES MAN! Leave some for the rest of us [;)]

Awesome builds Aggie! [Y]

Man you have GOT to be kidding me!! That is an amazing number of superbly built models right there. Hats off to you!!!

Fantastic work

Well done Aggieman. Why did you invert the pic of the F-111? We could see that he was comfortable and secure in his environment,[:D]

Amazing work and I’m amazed at how many you got done. I think those two B-29’s would take me a year to finish without working on anything else.

wow … a late reply is better than no reply… wow .

I’m getting a relatively high number of 403 Forbidden HTTP responses lately on this site, this time to attempting to respond directly to lewbud.

In answer, I like taking photos of the underside and then inverting to give an impression of being on the ground watching an airplane in a landing approach. [:D]
