AFV Club Tiger I Late at LuckyModel.com

I’ve never ordered from LuckyModel of Hong Kong. Back on 2/15/05 I perused their website at www.luckymodel.com. They said they had the new AFV cLub Late Tiger I kit in-stock. So being willing to try most things once… I ordered one. Today I saw that it is ‘on the waaaaayyyy’!

Their price for the Late Tiger is $25.99 US. I choose the middle shipping option of ‘air parcel post 7-11 days’ for $10.28, bring the total for one kit at $36.27. when it arrives I’ll post a review of the kit and the packaging and condition of it upon delivery! Until then!

Be looking forward to your review Glenn. Not too many around at the moment. The only ones I saw were on ebay. They went for silly numbers.

Should be interesting to see how this kit fares, especially compared to the new Tiger kits from Dragon.

It’s been in the shops here for over a week now, so it should be making its way overseas soon. Seems like a nice kit in the box. Selling for about $28 USD here in Japan.
Personally, I’m waiting for Dragon’s Tiger I late version.
Magic Tracks!
The AFV Club Tiger comes with belt-style tracks, which, nice as they are, I would want to replace anyway.

do the magic tracks have hollow guide horns?? (should they have!!!)

The Initial Tiger from Dragon does NOT have the hollow guide horns, but should. Can’t speak for the late.

By the way, to me the use of the term MAGIC in magic tracks implied more than what they actually are. The nice thing is they are not on a sprue, but I guess I thought they were working tracks, which they aren’t. Not really a big deal, in the grand scheme of things, but I thought I would mention it

Well, I think you’d have to admit that they’re pretty magical in comparison to what we’ve gotten in kit boxes up until now! [;)]

True. It is actually my fault for imagining what the magic in magic tracks meant.

I’m waiting too! Meanwhile my Tiger kit collection is growing by leaps and bounds![:D]
