I can’t say I know alot about this kit, but I saw aluminum barrel and I liked my M-18 Hellcat. Then I noticed the sign on the wall of the LHS- Going out of business- 50% off. I couldn’t say no to a kit for $17. Plus I loaded up on supplies. I cannot believe what I got for $35.
I’ve been looking at that for a while. I’m looking forward on how it is. The open turret always slowed me down.
Well, I was just looking through the box and it looks very nice. The one piece tracks also look nice (I prefer them to indies on Shermans and variants). There is an odd spring on the barrel, so apparently you can pretend to fire the gun with a realistic recoil.

You’ll like that kit - I just finished mine today AFV M10 wolverine, A few fit problems but very minor, actually only one fit problem the other was the builder[:D] You’ll have to use that spring- or the barrel won’t fit right, anyway you can pretend to be shooting at the perfect woman LOL! (private joke guys)
Where was the fit issue, Ken? I want to keep it in mind when I do this one
You’ll love the AFV Club M10. I built that one a couple of years ago and it was alot of fun.
The big thing that I had a bit of trouble with was inserting the tab at the bottom of the commanders foot rest into the slot on the chassis. That connection was a bit tight and fragile. The gun shield in the turret needed to be shortened a bit for the cannon to fit properly. You also need to be very careful with the suspension and sprocket assembly.
Otherwise an excellant kit - I highly recommend it.
Thanks. I am going to note this on the instrutions while I am thinking of it. I have a terrible memory and would probably remember 10 minutes past too late
I’ll E-mail you direct with the info, I can get a bit long winded[:D]
Thanks! I would prefer more info than less anyway
