Aftermarket Parts?

Hello everyone,
I am planning to work on the Tamiya P47D BubbleTop in 1/48 scale. I have never used PE parts or resin and don’t know how to find the various parts for this kit. Is there a way to find all the parts without trying to find all the individual companies and review their lists to try to locate items? I am really interested in doing the instrument panel. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your time and experience!
Bruce

Photo etch would probably be the best bet for that. I don’t think there is any need for a resin pit for the Tamiya kit, it’s pretty good OOB. PE will just give you the instrument panel, and some other various details. As far as I know, eduard are the best at PE, so have a look at their website www.eduard.cz . You could also look at sites like squadron.com and greatmodels.com for a more complete listing of what’s available.

hope that helps.

I’m not sure why you want to use am parts on this kit. Outside of pe belts, the kit pit , in my opinion, is pretty convincing.

Her’s some pics of my Tamiya bubble top cockpit.

Nice work Jerry.

You can look at www.greatmodels.com

Just type in “P-47D 1/48” into the search and you should be able to find PE, Resin, and Decals.
