Hi folks,
A good friend of mine recently passed on an old Hasegawa FW190 kit to me. It’s the JS-060 450 kit (molded in dark-green plastic). All in all, it looks OK, but it obviously doesn’t have the amount of detail that the newer models have.
I was wondering if any of y’all had tried adding aftermarket parts to it, and if so, which ones. I’ve seen the Verlinden resin kits, which look pretty good and are not too expensive, as well as some other stuff out there. I haven’t snagged any of them yet, because I wasn’t sure if the kit would be right with this older release.
I’m not too picky about which version of the 190 I build, I’ll probably just pick some decals to go along with it once I figure out what detail-up parts are out there.
