I picked up an old ESCI 1/72 AC-130H kit for a steal. The only problem is that is is missing the instructructions, which is not a big deal, but it is missing the decals. I was wondering if anyone knew of a set of aftermarket decals for this or at the very worst a C-130.
hmmm… I checked my 2 usual resources and found only Brasilian AF and Isreali AF decals… unless ya want to do the antarctic C-130 with the skis…
ACK! I just looked again, the only 1/72 decals are canadian and Isreali
I’ll keep looking for you, it’s kind of wierd there are no US markings… of course you could get the generic US plane markings and the C-130 letter and tail number kits and kind of hodge-pdge it together… they did have one 1/72 set of squadron numbers and serial numbers avaiable on squadron…
dug a little and came up with this… lists all the detail and decals sets etc… for C-130 by nation and who makes em… you’ll just have to search for who sells them!
navyaz12002, about 6months ago I searched high and low for AM stuff for this kit and came up empty 
I can help you with the instructions if you want I still have mine and I can point out the errors with them aswell… theres some blantant mistakes on them. as for the decals. Any search you do for decals is going to turn up stuff you dont want. For some reason AC-130H also means an H version of a different bird not the gunship version you have. I have no idea why its that way. You best bet would be making your own if you know how or maybe the scrap box? Decals that come with the kit aren’t very good and scarce at best. comes with the Nose art, 4 stars (national insignia), and two sn#'s for the tail

This guy is pretty good and he shipped my decals very fast
