Aftermarket cockpit for 1/32 F-4

Greetings Folks–

Anybody have any suggestions on a web site, catalog, retail outlet, or even private person that would have a detail set for a 1/32 F-4 Phantom?
Could be photo etch, resin, injection molded plastic, or whatever! The stock cockpit is waaaaayyyyyy too sparce.
As far as the private person part goes, I don’t want to get anybody in trouble. Apparently FSM frowns on people trying to actively sell stuff in the forum, but I’m hoping that a mere “suggestion”(Jedi Mind Trick) will suffice!

Thanks,

Carlos

Carlos,

there’s really tons of stuff available… Just do a search for 1/32 F-4 Phantom on this site:

www.hannants.co.uk

If it is the Revell kit, I would also suggest Seamless Suckers intakes. It will improve the looks of the kit. You should be able to order them through any company, such as Squadron.

Verlinden makes a very good PE and resin cockpit up date for the Revell kit. It even includes two very nice ejection seats. It does take some reworking the parts for them to fit properly though.

I would recommend either the Verlinden or Black Box cockpits. Both would do you justice. be warned, I have the Revell kit, too, and so far I’ve been WAY too tempted to purchase all the aftermarket stuff for it. It would be cheaper just to buy the Tamiya and be done with it! Of course, i’ve always had an addiction to super-detailing…

Hey guys,
Thanks for the input!
I’m not gonna go too crazy with detailing the outside(aside from box stock, its a recon F-4 so there’s not any armament --although it has a killer aint scheme!) but the cockpits that I’ve seen at hobby shows that have been detailed with aftermarket stuff looked incredible and I just wanted to try my hand at it.
Again, many thanks!
Carlos

Carlos,

You also might wanna try Squadron for a cockpit set, here’s the results of a search for 32nd F-4 accessories:
