aerosol colour help

Hello,

My current build calls for Tamiya AS3 (grey green) and AS4 (grey violent, I think). I can only find these colours in spray bombs in Canada. Is there an alternative to the the aerosols in Tamiya or other paint manufacturer ? I would like to use my air brush as it is for a camo pattern on a 1/72 luftwaffe aircraft.

Luftwaffe colors were pretty standard I think, but it’s been an awful long time since I built anything German. I think most of the guys use either Humbrol or Gunze paints since they have colors that correspond to the German colors. Wish I could be more help, but it’s a bit out of my area.

also Gunze and Vallejo have the RLM colors… as does MM enamels… you have the RLM numbers for the paints?

No I don’t have the RLM colours. I could not find a conversion chart that would show the comparable RLM colour to the ‘AS’ series of Tamiya paint. Economics is another concern. I have to spend more than $20.00 on two colours for a 1/72 aircraft. Colours I may never even use again!

Thanks for trying!
