Adding a photo to a post... ?

Maybe I am not seeing something, or maybe I am a bit inept… how do you add a photo to a post?

Here is what I do to post a pic.

  • Take a photo with a digital camera, or cell phone or some sort of digital equipment.

  • Upload the photo onto your computer

  • Upload the photos from your computer onto an online photo album IE: Photobucket.com

  • On your “post message” click on the film reel icon

  • Copy the URL from your photo on the online album and paste it in the URL line on the pop up screen.

  • Then click “post”

Clear as mud?

I have had no end of troubles posting photos. I used that method for awhile- it worked fine. Then it stopped working. There is a “help” forum that discusses this problem a lot.

As I see it this method will post a URL / Link to a photo, correct?

I was also attempting to simply “show” a photo (other than a link). I have seen many that others have posted. I have tried the old copy and paste with negative results.

It does now. When I started using that technique, it actually embedded the picture. I am not aware of changing anything in my procedure, but the results are now different :frowning:
