Acrylic "spray can" paints

Good question, hopefully an answer will follow. It’s all new to me.

Just be sure to double check before you buy it and you will be fine.

Look for the Blue Boots on the label (as of today, next year it could be different again)

www.pledge.com/…/floor-care-multi-surface-finish.aspx

and then look at the back of the bottle at the UPC code 46500 00182

if you get the Blue Boots bottle, you will have what SC Johnson says is the same product as the former Future

I have had only two bottles of Pledge/Future since I started using it for models, one yellowed a bit in the bottle and was replaced January 2012, the old one being gasp dumped on the floor, on purpose

This last bottle will probably out last my modeling days, because I use another Acrylic product for my clear coating now,Alclad II Aquas ,in either one, you can make Flat or Satin with small quantities of Tamiya Flat Base mixed in

Thanks TarnShip…I’ve been using the Alclad Ii Aqua stuff lately as well. Someone actually dumped a bottle of Future all over the floor???..well as they say, it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round!

yeah, and she did it over a period of months, lol

even using it on the floor, that last half of the bottle is taking a long time to use up

Thank you TarnShip, I went to Wally world yesterday and found it, unfortunately I didn’t read your post about Pledge till now and can’t remember if the bottle had the blue boots on the label or not.

I’ll be making another trip down in a few days to see if not I’ll check some of the other supermarkets around too.

FYI the new version

Steve, that is a smaller version of the photo you get by clicking the link I gave

FSM has recently assured that new Future is the same as old Future except the name. I bought 3 bottles of new Future early this year, and I haven’t consumed even 1/100th of a bottle. It works wonderfully.

thanks guys, I appreciate the update.

I still haven’t picked up a bottle of it yet but most likely will the next time I head to the store.
