Anyone have problems dealing with them? So far 3 emails unanswered.
Hey Marc-
I had to get a replacement part for a B-25 that the carpet claimed in victory. I called them and had no problem at all. Google their website and grab the ph#- they were really great.
I agree with armorman, get their ph# and CALL them,I too lost a part to a B-25, called their customer support and recieved the part in the mail a week later.
I have had very good service via email as well, but the land line is definitely quicker, and these folks are great to deal with, friendly and helpful.

I don’t know if this applies or not, but a while back, like with the others, I got excellent service from them, using e-mails alone.
Then recently, I sent an e-mail, and I got a strange response that has given me second thoughts about them.
Essentially the writer (I believe it was a second-in-charge)emphasized that they are “little guys” (yeah, OK, I mean I have had so-called “big guys” use their large size as an excuse also) to somehow explain why the late response. Furthermore the owner is now preferring to seek to do model cars over aircraft, since he sees it as more profitible. The writer pointed out to me that the owner has a Porsche (I still fail to see what that has to do with anything). .[%-)]
I would quote the writer exactly here, but this and other e-mails were lost in my service when they had a server failure.
So I would guess from this, if you can get anything out of them in the near future, that might just be about it.[:(]

That doesn’t sound like anyone I’ve ever talked to at Accurate Miniatures. Maybe it was someone playing a malicious prank on the company? As far as I know, they are still chugging along on aircraft. They have 2 auto kits. Wing nut, a reason they might be slow on responding is that they are busy stuffing boxes. From my understanding, they get the kits from Korea, then have to stuff the boxes themselves. I needed a decal from them while they were getting the Vindicators out. So be patient, someone will be with you.
As I recal, it was Joe Myers.
You see, I went to this page:
http://www.accurate-miniatures.com/contact.shtml
And got his e-mail adress and contacted him directly.
But since all he is is the General Manager, he might have been “off the cuff” from coming out of some sort of company meeting or something.[?]

I’ve emailed them a couple times to request replacement parts, but replies were kind of slow, usually 4-5 days or more. probably best to call them. Or, if you need a replacement part, they have a form on their website you can print, complete, and snail mail for the part. This may take longer than you want, but it’s worked for me in the past.
