Anybody got any ideas to assemble the kit tracks for the academy Stuart M3AI tracks I dont’t want to use the one peice vynal tracks only as a last resort thanks for the help guys ACESES5[bnghead]
Make several small runs for the top and bottom runs then add them all together. Then make your front and rear runs. Form them while th glue is still setting around the sprocket and idler wheels. Use a slow setting glue. No slack/sag should be built in to the top run. It is time consuming and a pain, but should look good when done.
What I do with all the individual tracks that I dois to make pairs and when the cement (liquid) is already set I join them with another pair until I have a line long enough to cover the length of the road wheels. I then do another length and while the cement is still soft, I wrap it around the sprocket and secure it with a piece of wire wrapped around the tracks so that the bend wil hold. Works for me.
