The big floor got a part from my Academy Spitfire–spent hours looking with no luck. My question, has anyone obtained replacement parts from Academy and, if so, how?

The part is D9 which is the long 20mm cannon barrel for the MK XIVc. Believe me, I keep looking. If you have the part I would be more than glad to pay you for it. My email is mikemcshea8@msn.com.

If the kit is currently inproduction, contact Model Rectifier Corp at http://www.modelrectifier.com/. I had the wheel wells from my PBY-5A go missing (thank the kitty for that!) and the sent me replacements in about ten days at no charge.
Gotta love good customer service.

I’ve had similar problems with an A-6 Intruder… wings were severely warped & I contacted the Hobby dtore where I had gotten it & they replaced the whole thing… FREE!! (think I got it thru Squadron shhh…) Try MRC and see what happens. Good luck
