So picked up an Academy F15E in 72nd scale, and the canopy frame(Part E7) is incompletely molded. I found the support email address for missing/damaged parts, and I wrote them an email over a week ago and have gotten ZERO reply. The email was kind, cordial, explanatory, and inquisitive. I would have taken it back but I’ve started work on it and there were no others on the shelf anyway.
Anyone have any suggestions? I picked this up for a GB, and don’t exactly have a buncha dough.
I would discuss it with the retailer you bought it from. If it is a good LHS they may be able to help.

I’ll give it a shot on Monday I’m sure they are closed on the weekends. Thanks.
I had to deal with Academy’s customer service once several years back… At that time their replies were slow and while they did offer up the customer service that I needed, it was for a fee. Definitely not the same caliber of service that I have received from Tamiya, Revell, and Testors, who all gave out first rate prompt service.
I’ve only ever had to deal with Tamiya. I destroyed the canopy of a 1/32 F-4 with liquid cement and called wanting to buy a replacement. They shipped me one completely free of charge. They take care of customers.
I hope you get your issue resolved. I would like to know the company I’m going to be giving a few dollars to for a couple of horribly misshapen F-4Bs takes care of their customers!!
