Was able to find time to finish up the base for this one. It’s 1/2” plywood covered with 150 grit sandpaper rectangles. I attached it with heavy duty contact cement. I then painted it with several different shades of Tamiya paints. On to the next one.

Great idea for a base. If I do one I’ll steal that sandpaper idea.
