Academy 1/32 RAAF F/A-18A Conversion Research

Hey there fellow modelers!

I’m just after some advice. I am researching for an Academy 1/32 F/A-18C to convert to F/A-18A RAAF and am at a loss as to which Cutting Edge cockpit to install given upgrades to avionics over the life of the aircraft. I am hazarding a late ‘C’ model cockpit as opposed to the original ‘A’ model but am not sure which option would truly reflect the current configuration. I have acquired the non U.S. ejection seat with “REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT” tag box although that also is a mystery as to where to place it. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction in terms of resolving these issues?

Go to the Aussie Modeller Forum ( http://www.network54.com/Forum/219149 ) and ask there. There are some very knowledgable people there. It moght take a while to get a response but (no more than a few days). Alternatively, you could try the hyperscale forum ( www.hyperscale.com ).
