can someone give me some goudance on the interior of an Abrams? I am working on the Dragon 03 Bagdad version and it calss for the two panels beside the seat to be flat white. If thast is the case, what are the knobs and dials in a tank? Is it silver as they say or are there blacks and reds like aircraft? First interior or cockpit of armor I am faced with. Any pictures for guidance?
The interior is flat white. Most knobs on the gunner, driver, and commander panels are black. Make the sight pads black too.
I have to disagree with the “flat white”. I have quite alot of experience in tanks, the M1 as well, and the interior will be a semi gloss white. Commanders, gunners,loaders and drivers seats have a black pads. The radio, and intercom boxes are OD green. The ammo doors can be either gloss white or natural dull aluminum, depending on which version you are building. TC and gunners sight headache pads are black, along with the sight aperature. Breech block is flat black, arming swingarm is semi gloss white with a black grab pad. Loaders knee switch is Gloss white, but well worn. NBC hoses are interior green. There will be stickers (black lettering on white background) all around the interior denoting stowage etc. Most electrical is black with dull aluminum quick disconnects.
