Does anyone know of anywhere I could find W.W.2 aircraft maintenance manuals? Preferably engines, but anything is a good start.Allen
There is a guy on ebay who is selling a bunch of maintenace manuels for different WW2
airframes and engines. You can peruse his store to see if any of it fits your bill

Give this site a try: www.thomsonsaviationmanuals.com They seem to have a large selection of engine manuals for engines of US manufacturer from 1937 on.
If you are looking for manuals which gives you the locations of equipment mounted on the airframes or engines, and can only afford one manual, get the parts manual (-3). It does a much better job of showing where a particular part is mounted and how it is shaped. If you can afford a second manual, get the Flight Manual (-1) which will give you pictures of where various items are mounted in the crew areas. One thing though, be prepared for Sticker Shock when you go to buy these manuals.
