? about paint

I was wondering what would be a good brand of paint to buy for painting military figures. I only build cars and it will be my first attempt at a figure, so im not so sure what i should spend my money on. i tend to like acrylics more than enamels but either is fine. any help will be much appreciated…thanks

Polly Scale acrylic. I’ve been painting pewter figurines for around 20 years and have always liked the Polly Scale paints for that.
