Abandonned hangar, somewhere in France after WWII

Hello everybody,

I would like to show you some pictures of my first dio in progress.
I hope to be be in the right section because my dio do not include any armor or figures but a seaplane (already shown a few months ago on the forum “Aircraft”), an old hangar and an abandoned flatcar.

The scale for the seaplane is 1/48 that the reason why I had to scratchbuilt the flatcar, the rails and a concrete buffer.

For the moment, the finished part are the seaplane, the flatcar and the two sliding doors of the hangar as well as a concrete wall with barbed wire.
The next step is the assembly of the hangar.

I like it, I like it a lot. Very Nice work on the flatbed and I would love to see some different angles of the seaplane.

It’s not a triangular dio. In fact it’s a classic format (50 x 60 cm) but I’ve only covered about 25% of the whole surface. Behind the wall, I intend to put a hangar as well as the seaplane.
The wall is made out of light wood and covererd with plaster.

It’s not the right section but …

very nice piece. very detailed and accurate. it looks great so far. post up some more pics when youve got some more done. BTW- what kind of floatplane is it? a dewoitine? i really like the weathering youve got on it
