I am almost sure that I’ll be going to AAMPS in Atlanta on April 18-20. Anyone else going?
And what’s that thing about preparing “sheets” on your model entries again? I remember someone saying that it was worth a few points or something?
What show is this?? I thought the AMPS show was in February
@Eric: There are multiple Regional AMPS shows across the country. The April show is the International Convention – the big one. 140 vendor tables — all armor. Fort Benning tour, contest.

I’ll be making plans for this show. Just more info… Is this open for also non-members to visit and or to participate in the model contest? Anymore info about the entrance fee per day and model contests fees??? Thanks for sharing.
Hi Dennis: this year, non members can do both (walk in and enter contest). The fee is for the entirety of the event

If you pre-register, you can enter models in on Thurs rather than the busier Fri and Sat sessions.
Roy…the artillery will be looking for you. Karl, holy excrement…finally…and Bill will be there too. The three of us should grab the FSM guys (not sure who is coming this year) and all go out to dinner or at least a drink!!

I’m psyched to think that I’m going to finally meet you, and some of the FSM guys!!! [:P] How COOL!!!
I’m waiting to hear back from Adam–he’s still in Russia, where I saw him and invited him to our show there. I went to one of his seminars at a hobby store in Yekaterinburg, I’m either going to travel with him from Charlotte, or meet he and his business partner there. He’s got a new line of products coming out that are the BOMB.
We’ll be able to talk about dinner and all that when we meet. I’m sure I’ll have at least one night obligated to Adam and his business partner(s). Not sure how many are coming.
One thing’s for sure–the awesomeness of the whole weekend!! WAHOOOOO!!! [:D]

Just waiting to hear from Adam, and then I’ll know my schedule. I’m not sure if I’ll stay there at that hotel–“cheap” is my mantra! But the plan sounds good so far!!!
Bill, Mike, Karl and all others – the last few years, the Friday night shindig tends to be the biggest gathering. Dunno the layout of the hotel but I suspect just listen for the loudest party – that’ll be us.
A few times, I wondered if the hotel staff wouldn’t call the cops on us… the fellas get a little wild…
