Another kit that was on hold in the closet, I finally got the paint to finish it. It’s an A6M5c from the 1st Squadron/ 302nd Flying Group at Astugi Air Base in August 1945 at the end of WWII. It has the Nakijima style camouflage with the sweeping up curve from the wing root to the horizontal stabilizer. Colors are gray green lower and dark green upper colors. The dark green I have is a bit darker than the plastics green the kit is molded in.

This is the dark green color I am using, this is the same kit done in Mitsubishi camouflage scheme, different decals and with a straight line from the wing root to the tail end of the plane.

I ordered the canopy mask, the dark green paint arrived a few weeks ago. I should be painting sometime next week.
