Hello all,
Wanted to post pics of my finished 1/72 Fujimi OOB A5M2a Claude (96Shiki Carrier-Based Fighter Type-2-1).
I did it up in the markings for Navy Aircraft Carrier “Kaga”, 1937, South of China.
Really nice build went together sweet, finished in about a week fastest build I think I ever did. [:p]
Please any input would be most welcomed.
Thanks for looking
Cheers
Thom

Claude’s looking really nice there, Thom! [:)]

Looks very nice. Good to see something other than the basic green or gray on a Japanese fighter.
Great job, nice and clean! And it´s good to know that I´m not the only 1/72 die-hard around here!![:D]

Very nicely done. The Claude was a world-class plane in its time.
She looks good from here.

That’s a nice, clean job on an interesting subject. Well done-
Thom,
Your Claude looks great!
I’ve read stories about how Japanese Claude pilots would turn their planes so tightly that they’d put wrinkles in the skin of thier wings. They were apparently pretty maneuverable planes.
Regards,
Very nice build of a very nice kit. Thanks for sharing.
Regards, Rick
Thomas, very nice build and paint job on the Claude. I’ll have to find that kit to add to my collection. Thanks for sharing.
Tom,
Very nice work on the Claude. I do most of my modeling in 1/72 scale too. Thanks for posting your pictures. I hope to see more of your work.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments I really appreciate them.
Dan, it was a really nice build, went together great very little filling needed. If you get a chance to get one go for it, you will not be disappointed [:)]
