A25A Shrike

Does anyone know of a conversion to make an A25A Shrike from an SB2C Helldiver? That would be mostly a new tail wheel and decal set.

Dunno about a conversion set per se, but it seems to be easy enough to do… Remove the arresting gear, the wing fold-mech, change to 50 cals (depending on the SB Doocy kit used), pick an insignia type, and do an Army paint-scheme w/ yellow serials… None of the A-25s made it into combat with Army units, so unit markings would be a minimum (like photos of it are are)…

Thanks guys, really appreciate it. Now I have to go buy another Helldiver to go along with the A-24 Banshee I did last year, it needs a companion. What else did the Army and Navy share? I need another shelf. [D)]

Don’t know what scale you like but another Army/Navy bird to think about is the Bell P-59 Airacomet. The Navy had a couple at NAS Pax. river and I think there might have been a couple of diff. paint jobs. I think you can still get the 1/48th HobbyCraft and I think A-Model has it in 1/72nd.

The Army and Navy shared the B-25, B-26, B24, and, among others that I can’t think of now,

was a couple of P-51’s used for carrier trials…
