Great work! .Please post closeups of the fairing left ,and describe how the damaged look was achieved. I need this for my mutant wip.

krow113, After I applied the decals I sealed them with a clear gloss. Then used the edge of a rough nail file file and and scraped it. I tried not to go past the primer under the yellow. Then washed it with a dirty brown/black artist oil and thick thinner.

I have seen that mutant wip, nice work very cool.

Thanks Bob. I’m lookin’ for a faded as opposed to scraped look but that worked great for you. Nice to see one of those bikes done other than stock.

If you hadn’t showed pictures with this in your hand - I’d swear it was a real bike! I can’t get over it - I had to look at each of these photos long enough to absorb the fact that this isn’t lifesized. Great job on the weathering, and damage - it makes it look even more realistic!
