I finished the Academy Bf-109 G6 in 1/72 scale. I built it out of the box, but decided I wanted to try a different paint scheme. I chose the one from JG 300 for pilot Manfred Dieterle. I don’t think I got quite enough squiggly lines as I made tape masks and it was “patient” going. No swastikas in the kit and I don’t have any in that scale. I took the gelb 1 from another kit.

I painted the spinner gelb RLM04 and then with a tiny stri of Tamiya tape, I covered the yellow lne and then sprayed the black. I was also pleased with the masking and turnout of the canopy in that small scale.
Next up a 109 in 1/48 scale. 1/72 is too tiny for me:)
