I doubt it, I haven’t seen it yet. Try this. I pre-ordered the Dragon myself. Still, it sounds like a nice kit.

HI Aaron,
Dragon already have a late production Tiger out (kit #6253) with steel wheels. It’s the same kind of kit as their early version in that it has PE parts, aluminium gun barrel etc.
It’s available in quite a few shops already.

Dean

This kit is out in other countries? They’re still taking pre-orders here in the states and most places you look say its not due to be released until April.
Good news it is out overseas. Not here yet, but hopefully soon
here in australia just the early 3 n 1 verision tiger 1 isnt due out till next month it takes for ever for anything to arrive we only just got the new 3 n 1 251 and thats saying something lol
I thought they would have dropped the DML stuff in Oz on the way over to North America. Do they release stuff in the opposite direction, through Europe first?
Well I have checked with my supplier here in Oz and they reckon that they will only get the late version end April.
The early verions are out in some shops but because they are so hot they don’t hang around.
I’m in Sydney, Australia, and I got the Dragon early Tiger 3 in 1 at Avenue Hobbies in Chatswood, and the AFV Club Tiger Ausf E lastest model at Wings N Things in Gladesvile just last week … even better, they were at very competitive prices.
Have already written an initial report on the Dragon kit in the forum, but have resolved not to look too closely at the AFV kit until the Dragon is finished (have toooo many unfinished hulks laying around!).
id go for the extra’s in dragons. plus i hate AFV clubs plastic.
They had one opened at teh hobby shop today, it has a working torsion bar suspension,a nd aton of other goodies. No wonder tamiya had to pull out, they can possibly compete with that. The guys looking at that htought it was nice, however they were waiting for the dragon kit.
B ill
According to the folks at www.spruebrothers.com, the late production Dragon Tiger I will be released in this country in May 2005–they said they will notify me when the date is set so that I can preorder it at that time. I am waiting anxiously. Who else is actually accepting preorders now? I’m sure it will probably cost about $30 or so, as does their early production model. It looks like an awesome kit–I would recommend waiting for it.
thanks guys im gonna wait till i can get my hand on a dragon late production tiger
