A Slum Story - (Video clip) _UPDATE!

A short video clip of a diorama I have been working on. This is how it looks before the figures were added. I used several reference photos that this diorama was based off. I tried to put as much into this small space as possible without over-crowding it. As always, I’ve been doing a lot of figure painting to improve my skills. So far, I’m stepping up the ladder in slow increments. I’m happy with the results I have achieve in my development.

Apologies for the shakiness of the clip. I will try and do better next time.

That is so very cool Charles. So much to see from every angle. How long does something like that take you?

Thanks. Just a few days. If you don’t count the drying time in-between each layer.

Very well done. You can almost smell the odor of the gutter. Excellent work on the corrugated zinc.

Very well done. The look on the faces of these figures definitely shows the hardships of living in the slums. BTW, the toughest man in this slum is the guy with the baby Mako shark on his shoulders. :joy:
