I was just visted by Bob Calhela who posts here as MarinROO. He’s a fine young man and U.S. Army soldier who will deploy to Iraq tomorrow and do his duty protecting our freedoms and that of the Iraqi people. I asked him to keep in touch by email and if he can to keep posting here while he’s deployed. I also said he can feel free to ask for any modeling goodies and supplies he may need while he’s in the sandbox. Let’s all wish him the very best and a safe tour in that embattled country.

We make a lot of scale models that capture moments of history in fine scale. Bob will be making some of that history and I salute him for his dedication and service.
