A really tiny dash board

At least for me it’s a really tiny dash board. I usually do 1/48 scale models but have accepted a commission job, a 1/72 Do-18 ‘Monsun’ and this is the just completed dash.

All instruments are punched out of a reheat sheet and the throttle quadrant is all scratch built. What you are seeing is really four times actual size.

Wow… it looks great… it seems more like a 1/48 dashboard, it haves a lot of details…

Wow!
Cheers,
Eric

that’s amazingly small - hope you are getting a good commission!

WOW!
We wait for final work

And I have a hard time with 48th. Looks like a real stunner.

WOW. Four times the actual size and full of detail. Great job on the instrument panel Swanny.

Dashing looking dash

Thad

Nice job on the Instrument Panel. Looking forward to seeing the build progress.

Hey swanny that is incredible. But I can’t help but wonder if the background of that picture is indeed your finger. If so that would give it quite the impression of size.

great job looking forward to seeing the whole aircraft.

Amazing Swanny!

Amazing Swanny. Gotta show us the rest of th eprogress pics!

Tallyho! How long’d it take ya, Swanny?

2 or 3 hours.

Swanny,

WOW! You da MAN! I can’t even see things that small. I have trouble with 1/48 stuff!

Simply: AMAZING!

Swanny, this is impressive detail for 1/72. Like others said, 1/48 is tough to make look this good.

What’d you use for the instrument glass? Are they just drops of Future?

Swanny, a credit to your skills and an example to emulate.
