i was just wondering if u ever got around 2 pulling the power pack
on one of ur Abrams tanks…
domi had asked about this awhile back, & i seem 2 remember u saying
it was in the works 4 this winter.
if u don’t have any pix of the pack outside the afv,
r there any of the unit installed ?

I’ve got about 20 photos of a pack being pulled in the field by a HEMMET wrecker last summer. I’ve got good shots of the inside of the compartment and the power pack itself, I can post them when I get home or I can email them to you.

I thought you were in one of those thingies that has a big long shooter thingamajig, ron??? not one of those things that’s kinda like the best trackie thing in the world. [:D]
I was in the best tracked thing in the world type thing, but they turned those guys into infantry (which I tried and liked not too much really for a while), now I’m on those other big bangie thingies that you shoot at things you can’t see type stuff… so instead of ‘Gunner, SABOT, Tank!" it’s, “Fire mission: At my command, Shell: HE, Fuze: Quick, Charge 8 white bag, Deflection 3457, Quadrant 476…” or what ever. Then I start pushin’ buttons after my guys do all the work.

Actually, we did pull the pack to replace the haylon bottles, but I did not take any photos that day. I don’t recall why I didn’t, either I forgot, forgot the camera or was just too busy helping.
