A pair of Spitfire's

Here’s a couple of pics of my latest builds…

This one’s a Spit Mk 8 from 457 SQD RAAF i built for the Aussie GB 04…

The second one i built for the Old Guns GB and is a Spit Mk1 from 603 SQD during the Battle of Britain…

Oh yeah the MK8 is the Hasegawa kit and the MK1 is the Tamiya Kit[tup]

Hey j.s.,
Great job on the Spits…I especially like the MK8. Thanks for sharing.

Two very nice builds J.s. I have to say that the Aussie one (im gonna catch alot flack for this) looks Americanized to me… [:)] dont know what it is it just reminds me of an american warbird.

They are a greaty pair, thanks for the pics.

once again great job Jules! both look great! looking forward to both the BoB GB and the Aussie 05 build to see more of your work!

Nice work!!

They both look great mate. Now if you queenslanders could only play footy as good as you model…[:)][;)]

[(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]I new you wouldn’t be able to resist Daniel[:p][:D][;)]

Nice build Jules!

All I can say is Nice, nice and outstanding. But just for the record, which of the two manufacturer’s kits did you find the most satisfying to build. And, since the two don’t always go together, which was most accurate, Tamiya’s or Hasegawa’s?
TOM

Great models - must have taken a lot of research to get them that good. Thanks for the pics

very nice work. the Mk-1’s weathering is dead on to the real thing. well done
