I have dealt with all sorts of models for the last 50 years but for the last 10 I make miniature firing firearms. I have joined several model forums and though welcomed most politely, I yet have to find if and where I fit in. If among you there are people of similar orientation please let me know.
I like guns, cats and women (though 30 years ago the priority was slightly different).
The guns I like not as a medium to maim or kill, but as a mechanism.
I have three lathes in my workshop (sorry no pics since very messy) and all the paraphernalia necessary to the machinist.
welcome to the forums George, hope you feel comfortable enough to look around and add your unique expretise to the nearly infinite amount of information found here, check out the scratchbuilding forum as those folks are quite talented.
I am a part-timer with firearms, not enough to fool with bothering with the FFL or C&R licence. Do some metal and wood work to customer spec, build a lot of my own designs and toys.
Am a Title-II/C3 owner and shooter, play with lots of assorted fullauto toys in the gun games and shoots we attend.
Would enjoy to see more of your minature work, looks like some fine machining and pride goes into those.
Thank you all for your welcome. I am willing to share my 50 years of general modelling experience if and when I will be certain that I know exactly what I’m talking (well, writing) about…
Well Kent, this is my only model that does not fire bullets but only 2mm pinfire blanks.
However, you can see my other models (all firing) at:
Hello George and [#welcome]! We have many modelers in this forum who are also collectors of firearms and shooters. I am also involved in shooting sports and also a certified instructor to teach firearm related courses (ranging from safety courses to tactical).
