A Must Have - Paint Droppers!

Just wanted to share with you guys where I got the paint droppers that I use. I’m sure many of you use these. Those of you who haven’t, I highly recommend these for your tool chest! They are invaluable and I use them daily - sometimes 4 or 5 in a single session! You may or may not want this many - I got a smaller pack to try them out and ran out pretty quick - I got this and still have quite a ways to go before running out - plus the box they come in is really handy! Here’s the link to where I got mine:

You get 500 of these babies for less than 4 cents each and like I said, they come in a great box that you can see on my workbench below:

Must order these as well as some glass containers to mix paint in.

Thanks for this info! Need some in the worst way.

Mixing containers are something else I get from Amazon as well… last time I ordered some this is what I got:

Look around though there are lots of options for small mixing containers on Amazon. Another option, if you really want glass, is to go over to Goodwill or even Walmart and get some cheap plain shotglasses… those are great for paint mixing if you don’t mind the cleanup. For me, though, disposable is the way to go. A good palette, too, would be a glass ashtray - nice, wide, and flat but with raised lip… makes it pretty useful. Cigarette notches on them are great for holding brushes during use too.

For those who have not tried droppers and want to try a smaller pack, this is what I got - different manufacturer but these are what got me hooked on using droppers for all my paint needs.

Thx for the link Deaf! I’ve been looking for some, but have been lazy to actually search for them! As for mixing, I like using these cups. They are a softer plastic and easily squeezed to pour without cracking it shattering!! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000IFBFXI/ref=pd_aw_sims_6?pi=SL500_SS115

I managed to get ahold of a handful at my place of employment since they have thousands of them on hand. They’re great for sucking up acrylics in paint bottles and put them in those little cups for airbrushing.

I like disposable droppers. I bought 1,000 x 1 mm droppers for $5 including shipping from a seller in China on eBay last year.
