The notion of a Tiger tank with a police beacon on top of the turret is just too weird… [;)]
Yes very odd.When I got it was German grey and I masked off the beacon because I believe it is the R/C sensor.

That’s fun. My sons had something like that and the beacon was an IR sensor as they could ‘shoot’ at each other. A hit would momentarily disable the tank. Three hits I think was a kill and it would flash and spin around in circles

Tamiya released a series of 1/16 scale RC tanks that had the ability to fit a sort of laser tag into the commander’s hatch. The tanks “fired” beams at other tanks and the sensor would flash when it was hit.
