Is that a Japenese aircraft of some kind. Maybe a Zeroe maybe A6M5?
Could it be the old Smithsonian series Revell Corsair? The cheesy wing fold looks familiar? That’s my guess. BTW is it snowing up there? It’ comin down pretty good down here in Stark county.[xx(][xx(]

It’s not Japanesse because japanesse aircraft did not have deep wind folding areas.
It’s not a US form of aircraft since no US have that type of wing.
That only leaves British planes. A Super Spit? (with a 5 bladed prop)
other than that -----------------?
A point for Toby Mac, it is a Japanese aircraft but not a Zero.
Can I have a point because I’ve sat thru a Toby Mac concert?
Can’t think of the official name but the American code name uring WWII was Tojo? But then I think that was a Japanese Army Fighter so no folding wings.
Nope, not a Tojo. This aircraft had 1418 examples manufactured during WW2 but only 133 of those were by the designing company whose name it bears.
Nichimo Jake…
No I didn’t cheat…
Fade to Black…
I figured Black Wolf would get this and indeed he did.

I’ve owned this kit more times than I can remember… even tried to build it once, albeit as a snotty nosed 12 year old. Haven’t tried it as a snotty nosed 32 year old yet, though… [;)]
I always wound up ditching the kit, hoping for a new one by Hasegawa or Tamiya. Someday perhaps.
Can’t wait to see what you do with it, Swanny…
Fade to Black…
Way over my head.

I’ve been working on it for a few days now. It’s buildable but does require some extra effort. I’m wondering if I really want to gut the interior and rebuild it for accuracy or not. Mostly it is going to be an excersize in seawater exposure weathering.
I was going to be close my second time. It was still a name common name of somebody.
I do believe Blackwolf could have gotten that with his cerebellum tied behind his back. I on the other hand had no hope of ever guessing that. Can’t wait to see the the salt water weathering you have in store Swanny.
