A Hawker Hurricane IIc

G’day Folk’s,

This 48 scale Hurricane IIc is the Hasegawa tooled, Revell boxed kit of the European Theartre, with exception of a harness and a couple of other added bits, this is basicly OOB, the decals are a kit option. The yellow becon light between the cockpit and the antenia, is not a painted clear part of the kit, but a jewel that has been fitted for added relealism, in place of the clear kit lens.

The cammo scheme on this bird is from the Mr Color range of RAF authentic laquer sets, these paintes dry very quickly once airbrushed all the commo is done free hand.

Rob.

Very nice work Rob, I’ve been wondering about this kit a while back.
Seeing these pictures makes me regret not buying it [:(]

This one I like a lot! No masks for the airbrushing huh? Man, you’re a lot better with it than I am [:D][tup].

Looks great! Thanks for sharing!

It’s an interesting type, and very colourful. A jewel in your collection! [^]

I like the look of your hurricane Rob. The camo is very nicely done.

Very Nice!
I have mine done in Desert Camo…not as great lookimg as yours, but learning everyday…right now I’m 50% done on a Mk IID on Dark Slate Green/Dark Ocean Grey cammo pattern (I think they called them Temperate Sea scheme). I also have a Battle of Britain MK I.
