A good reference source for modern USAF equipment is the Jan '05 issue of Airman Magazine, “The Book-2005”. It has great color pictures of all the ordnance that the AF uses. See if you can get a copy from an active duty AF or Air National Guard member or the local AF recruiter.

Web-birds has ton’s of photos from ton’s of fighter and bomber groups of the USAAF.
The second site covers the entire war. You can find images of groud vehicles, towns, aircraft, propaganda art, and so much more… If you have your TIVO pretty much set on the History Channel, you’ll like the site. I get all kinds of ideas for dio’s from this site.
