A different giant penny shot

I know, I know, this is the aircraft forum, but I couldn’t resist:

This is little two piece, 1/700 scale fishing trawler kit from Loose Cannon Productions. I decided to include it in an upcoming diorama, and got so into painting something that wasn’t all over gray that I, ummmm, kind of got distracted from the build at hand. The little guy on the foredeck is waving Hi. [:D] Still pondering what to use for the nets.

LMAO!!!
Mate, THAT’S cool…I love it - even though it doesn’t have wings…where the heck did you get that giant penny?

Try gauze…sliced from a Band-Aid (for scale) for the nets

Very cool stuff! I wonder… what about a designated “Giant Penny” section? What say you FSM? [:D]

Look closer, that little guy isn’t waving, he’s giving us the … (because he escaped the Ship forum)

subfixer, I am shocked, shocked that you would even suggest such a thing! Besides, mumbles, Gold Medal Model 1/700 PE people are good, but they’re not that good (unfortunately).

Pretty Cool little boat…As for the nets, what about Tulle? It is available at most craft stores, and is most commonly used on wedding veils or gowns. It’s a fine mesh, usually white, but it is easily painted.

A GIANT PENNY SECTION…COOOOL!!!

Neat little trawler… Wonder where they fit the spy equiptment?

THat’s neat, mfsob. With all of the giant penny shots going on, and the Giant Penny forum space, not to mention a possible Giant Pennt GB, I am thinking of marketing “scale” giant pennies. I figured I could have them made from copper and tin and sell them cheaply for $0.99…[:-^]
