A cool part of history!

Last year I went to the Wetaskiwin Reynolds Museum on a private tour of the hangars. They have more planes stored off display than on!! I saw one plane in particular that I think you will all find interesting… I saw the model Avro Arrow they used in the ducumentary film about the plane. The model is in 1/1 scale and is amazing!! It was huge! (I even touched it![:0]). If I could get my scanner working, I’ll show you the photos of it.

Avro Arrow… What an amazing aircraft![:D]

Alright… can hardly wait, thanks!! [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Cool, can’t wait to see it.

Anxiously waiting for the pictures.

Stuka, I’ve seen it too, they periodically open that hanger to the public, I didn’t think it was 1:1, I thought it was half scale. I got a picture or two as well.
Did you go for a ride in the Waco biplane? I love the reynolds museum! it is a must of you are ever in central Alberta!, I think their jewel is the Hurricane Mk XII! if you want to see good picks check out this website

Looking forward to the pics.

I thought it was full scale, but I could be wrong. No, I didn’t get to fly in the Waco, but we also got a private tour of all the restoration hangars as well (not just the big one, but the other ones on the airport side!) That Hurricane is also a beauty! One of my favourite planes in there though is probably the Tiger Moth hanging from the roof.

Hey stuka, are you some kind of sadist ? I think you are very meen by teasing us with a 1/1 Arrow and then telling us you’re scanner is out of order… [;)]

Just kidding…

Stuka and all you others , it is indeed a full scale replica[:O] forgive me please. Check out the history on this website.[:D]
