A B25c Mitchell in the RAAF

G’day Folk’s,

Another of the B 25 family that is destined to the RAAF OTS project, this is the 48 Accurate Minatures kit of the B25c it is one of two that served with 2 Sqn RAAF for a brief time that was finished in overall Foliage Green, all the RAAF Mitchells where ex RNEIAC, there is a little bit to go on this bird, before it’s finished. The xtra Clour range of paint was used on this aircraft, but I lighted the green with yellow to replicate a faded finish.

Rob.

Looks good. does Xtra Colour always look this good? BTW, I’d wash the hood (or bonnet, if you prefer) before waxing!

Beautiful Mitchell, Rob.

That faded look is realistic, excellent job!

As an australian I must ask why do we have such boring colour schemes even now off the top of my head all i can this of is a few of our F111’s and C130’s have anything decent, we should have an isreal style scheme on our figthers.
